CHAIRMAN

The Chairman will be responsible for the general supervision of the Club. The Chairman shall preside over meetings of the board and shall delegate responsibility, as needed, to run the Club’s daily activities and plan for future needs. The Chairman will maintain, with the help of the other board members, a working relationship with the LGBT community. The Chairman shall also convene regularly scheduled board meetings. The Chairman will keep the board fully aware about all activities of the Club. The Chairman may, in the name of the corporation, execute such deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts, or other instruments as may be authorized by the board.

VICE-CHAIRMAN

The Vice-Chairman shall assist the Chairman in performing duties of that office and shall assume the duties of the office whenever the Chairman is absent. The Vice- Chairman shall also provide support and assistance to the other board members in performing the duties of their respective positions.  The Vice-Chairman shall also take overall responsibility for forming recruitment plans to ensure continued club growth and future existence. The Vice- Chairman will become the acting Chairman of the Club in the event of the death, resignation, or removal of the existing Chairman until such time as an election may be help to fill the vacancy. The Vice-Chairman will perform all necessary duties of the Chairman in the event of the disability or extended absences of the Chairman until his/her return. The Vice-Chairman may, in the name of the Corporation, execute such deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts, or other instruments as may be authorized by the Board.

CLERK

The Clerk shall serve as the Corporate Clerk of the organization and be the custodian of its records including these bylaws, as amended. The Clerk will maintain minutes of the annual and special meetings of the organization and exhibit at all reasonable times to any Member, on request, the Bylaws and the minutes of the proceeding of the board. The Clerk will file all necessary documents with the State of New York as required by law.  The Clerk will be responsible for communicating pertinent information to Club members. The Clerk may, in the name of the Corporation, execute such deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts, or other instruments as may be authorized by the Board.

TREASURER

The Treasurer will have charge and custody of, and be responsible for, all funds and securities of the Corporation, and deposit all such funds in the name of the Corporation in such bonds, trust companies, or other depositories as selected by the board. The Treasurer will collect dues for the organization and jointly with the Clerk keep a record of the organization’s membership.  The Treasurer shall disperse funds and keep records of such disbursements along with the organization assets, liabilities, receipts, gains, and losses. The Treasurer will exhibit, at all reasonable times, the book of account and financial records to any Board Member. The Treasurer will prepare the financial statements to be included in any required reports and the necessary government filing to maintain the Corporation’s non-profit organization status.  The Treasurer will make a report at each board meeting and assist in developing fundraising plans. The Treasurer may, in the name of the Corporation, execute such deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts, or other instruments as may be authorized by the Board.

SPORTS DIRECTOR

The Sports Director will take overall responsibility for the day-to-day running of soccer play.  This will include the planning for the improvement of soccer skills of all members.  This can include the coordination of facilities for practices and special events and the maintenance and purchase of team equipment. This position will also coordinate with the other board members on team representation for tournaments where the club will be in attendance (i.e. NYC Indoor Classic, Provincetown Classic, Queer Cup & Liberty Classic). The Sports Director may, in the name of the Corporation, execute such deeds, mortgages, bonds, contracts, or other instruments as may be authorized by the Board.
